By accessing or using Chancy ("the Service"), a decentralized sweepstakes protocol on World Chain, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
IMPORTANT: This is a decentralized protocol. Users are responsible for complying with all applicable laws in their jurisdiction.
2. Age and Eligibility Requirements
- You must be at least 18 years old to use this Service
- You must be legally permitted to participate in games of chance in your jurisdiction
- You must have a verified World ID (Orb verification required)
- You are responsible for determining whether participation is legal in your location
3. Prohibited Jurisdictions
The Service is NOT available to residents or citizens of:
- United States of America and its territories
- China (PRC)
- North Korea (DPRK)
- Iran
- Syria
- Cuba
- Any jurisdiction where sweepstakes participation is prohibited
- Any OFAC-sanctioned countries

4. Nature of Service
Decentralized Protocol: Chancy is a decentralized smart contract protocol. There is no central operator, company, or entity controlling the sweepstakes outcomes.
Entertainment Purpose: This Service is provided for entertainment purposes only. It is not an investment opportunity or financial product.
No Investment Advice: Nothing on this platform constitutes investment, financial, legal, or tax advice.
5. Sweepstakes Rules
- Maximum one entry per person per draw (enforced by World ID)
- Entrys may be refunded if a draw cannot be settled within 48 hours of ending. Entrys are non-transferable
- Winners are selected randomly using WitNet oracle
- 90% of collected funds go to prize pool
- 5% for infrastructure, 5% for development
- Draws occur every 24 hours automatically
6. Risks and Disclaimers
YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND ACCEPT THE FOLLOWING RISKS:
- Smart contract bugs or vulnerabilities
- Total loss of funds
- Regulatory changes that may affect service availability
- Tax obligations on any winnings
- Network congestion or technical failures
- Oracle manipulation or failure
7. NO WARRANTY
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
8. Tax Responsibilities
Winners are solely responsible for:
- Reporting winnings to appropriate tax authorities
- Paying any applicable taxes on prizes
- Maintaining records of participation and winnings
- Seeking professional tax advice if needed
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL THE PROTOCOL DEVELOPERS, CONTRIBUTORS, OR ANY ASSOCIATED PARTIES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES.
10. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration under the rules of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC). The arbitration shall be conducted in English and take place in a neutral jurisdiction.
